Born to Hungarian Immigrants Louis & Lillian Teleky, "Ed," known by most, was stricken by polio as a young child, but that didn't stop him from living the American dream. In 1942 he graduated from Morrisville College with a degree in Master Watchmaking. Ed was an artisan, a Master Watchmaker. In 1949, he married the love of his life, Beverly DeShaw. He worked for RE Brigham Jewelers for 25 years before he took his talents, and in 1970 opened up the Oneonta, NY family business, now known as Edward Teleky Jewelers aka Teleky Jewelers. Family and friends were everything to Ed & Bev, and at a very young age, their daughters, Judy and Bonnie, grew up working behind the jewelry cases. In 2005 Ed retired and handed the reigns to his children. Whether you are an old friend or a new acquaintance, we look forward to working with you in our Jewelry Store..
